I ordered the fish sandwich to go. The fish smelled and had a strong fish odor. I asked 2 other people to taste it and they agreed. I returned to the restaurant to tell them and the staff response was okay, Ill let the chef know. I was not offered an alternative or a refund. The sandwich went into the trash can.
Glad I Tried It. I always forget about 1912, but it’s a terrific spot for a well-prepared and speedy breakfast. The bacon and potatoes were free of grease, and even the bread used for toast was above par. The space is a bit dated, but wasn’t crowded, and a great place for a business breakfast.
