Worst place ever. Cannot even describe what a let down this ramshackle of a dive was. Wasn’t sure if it was a restaurant or mechanic repair shop with the automotive repair going on ten feet from the back door. You couldn’t pay me to go back!
We had Arlene’s for the first time yesterday at the BBQ Competition in Seville park,,,, we could tell by the line it was going to be fantastic and we were right,,, pulled pork with collards and potato salad!!!! Mmmmmmmm!!!! I think Arlene’s has a new regular customer on her hands!!!!! Live that there are some good places popping up in the Brownsville area,,, with great places like this, it could be a real turn around for the neighborhood!!!!
Don’t eat there in the afternoon. My food was dry, cold, and she acted like I was stupid when I asked her questions and told her it was my first time there.
Yes this place is take out and yes the owner is a bit temperamental, but is by far the best barbeque in town. Well worth the the high prices & condescending attitude!
Best BBQ in Pensacola. Love this place and the last time we were there, they shared a piece of cake that someone from her church gave her with us. It was heavenly. I recommend Arlene’s to everyone who loves BBQ.
Wow! First time buying. For the pulled pork sandwich special and a full slab of ribs and I will be back for more. They are some off the best tasting ribs and pulled pork I have ever had and the most tender and juicy. You have to try their food.
Ahh great BBQ. What can I say but her BBQ is the only one I will go out of my way for in this town. It is tasty and moist and tender. Great food and service.
