My mouth waters just thinking about these deserts!
French Macarons in Pensacola!. Was looking everywhere for French Macarons and I stumbled upon this place.Felt like I found the holly grail! lolThey are delicious! They have a couple flavors available on a daily basis and they will make special orders for other flavors (try rose, lavender, champagne, cassis…all great flavors for Macarons).Going back tonight for more 🙂
Tony designed my wedding cake, not only was it beautiful, but it was delicious. We cannot wait until 5/26/13 to try our top tier! Thanks for all your hard work!
Family Tradition. Just got another cake for my son’s 1st Bday to keep the family tradition going of Tuan’s cakes. It was beautiful and amazing as always. Loved that he hand painted The Cat in the Hat. Everyone loved it. See you again in a few months for another Birthday Cake. BTW snagged some butter cookies with the almonds and chocolate drizzle. They were to die for. YUM YUM YUM!!!
Sublime!. It took some political maneuvering to get my mom to agree to serving these little cakes at a small gathering of some close relatives. They were the hit of the day, and their beauty was matched by the taste. I love this place so much, I could actually become a desert person!12 Jan, 2012Whoa!!!!. I have never been to Cake Gallery, and don’t go out of my way to find sweets. It’s always been a distant goal to create French pastries on the level of the best Paris and NY bakeries.Today was a day to cook a lunch for old friends, and I was presented a box from Cake Gallery. All I could do was gasp at the beauty of the confections. The out of the world presentations were better than anything I saw in my recent trip to New York.The desserts all had a distinct differences, and each with inspiring presentation. The taste was as perfect as the appearance. Please check out the photo. I don’t know why this place is in Pensacola, but please, check it out.
I am so excited Tuan is back!!!! I missed his sweet treats! I was just surprised for my birthday with his cake and told he has opened a few months ago!!!! Honestly the best cake I ever had! He has been our family baker and part of our family tradition. He has made my wedding cake, baby shower cakes and birthdays! So delicious!!!!
The Master Pastry Chef Returns!!!. For those of us who were in mourning/withdrawal after the closing of Sweet Things on Mobile Hwy, it’s time to rejoice. Tuan has re-opened on Garden Street with a beautiful bakery featuring his stunning cakes, pastries and other sinful treats. Diabetics beware; this is not a safe place for you.For starters, the place is elegant, and it looks like it was lucked off Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. The proof, however, is in the product, and Tuan delivers in a big way. Each pastry is perfectly decorated with impeccable attention to detail. There is a sizable selection of goodies available for takeout. Unlike his prior location, there are no table for having coffee and dessert in the store – yet. Plans are in the works to do this in the future. As far as savory lunch offerings, that is hopefully not far behind.Tuan does custom orders, and wedding cakes are one of his specialties. Stop in and grab a few pastries for a special treat. You’ll be hooked. Oh, this place does not play fair. They have samples of goodies on a cake plate and they encourage you to have some. Try to stop at just one piece. I dare you.
