Ehhh was ok.. My dad was visiting from CO and he prefers local places to eat. So we tried this place. The biscuits and gravy was awesome. As well as the grits. The eggs were ok. And the bacon was overdone to the point it crumbled when I touched it. I just crumbled it up in my grits. The serving was short and nit real friendly. My mother was a waitress for 40 years so I am very critical. The prices were reasonable. You could tell there was not much fine to the place in many years. I may try this place again just to see.

Great Food! But at times…. Terrible service!!!. First, let me say the food at the Coffee Cup is great. The service, on the other hand, can be really really bad. I went there with a small group of people. We had to wait for a table which is understandable. But once seated it took forever to get drinks and even longer to get an order and it was over an hour to get our food. No less than 10 tables have their food and many of them had left before we even got our food. The reason given for the delay was because one of our party had a hamburger. Yet the burger was the first thing delivered. The biscuits and gravy, which would’ve been the easiest of the orders, was delivered 15 minutes later and cold. Great Nassau Grits. The owner/manager and the waitress had no clue of what good customer service was. They blamed our order for their problems. Absolutely one of the worst displays of customer service that I have ever seen.

You can find me at the Coffee Cup every Saturday! It’s a favorite of me and my friends. Grits, coffee, hash browns, eggs, bacon, EVERYTHING is fantastic!! I’ve never had a bad experience here, and the servers are very friendly. Definitely a must-try!

As other reviews have said, you get ‘herded’ in to a tiny spot, when you do get seated. We literally got stuck in a corner by a beverage cooler. I ordered a sweet tea, got coffee, friend ordered water with her coffee, never got it. I ordered bacon & hash browns & was sorely disappointed with both. I know this place is locally owned & I like to support local businesses, but the service is no good ( they evidently don’t listen). The place is dirty & once you’re finished with your food, thw owner eagle eye’s you until you leave. I will not go back
