I had such a great time at this place! Gourmet toppings for salads and pizzas! There aren’t any Windows, just red lights, an old fashioned juke box and video games. Also plenty of board games too. The parking lot is torn to shreds and the place looks like it’s closed from the outside, but it’s a jem inside.
A trippy place. I got really drunk here and then ate one of their pizzas. It was fun.
Out late?. Quaint place open late pays homage to star trek a bit with their menu. burgers, pizzas, and hot dogs with drinks makes for good bar food. cool ambiance, it’s also cool how they keep a game of Cards Against Humanity handy for any table who wants to laugh over drinks. cool place!
One my all time favs…there is NOTHING like this anywhere else in Pensacola. The outside is so not what you expect when stepping in this time machine. The house beer is Schlitz….thats what i said…Schlitz…..not just any Schlitz..so ice cold it has ice crystals when poured into the nearly frozen glass…..coupled with one of the fantastic sandwiches..this is one of the best delights in life. This is bar from the 60s / 70s era…dont try to compare it to anything else. The reaction is always the same for first timers…WOW…! Its very dark, nearly all the lighting is RED, so it takes some getting used to. No smoking which is always good, there are old time board games, a jukebox with Sinatra, and Star Trek items everywhere,,,the owner is a big fan. Try the pizza, the sandwiches, and fridged beers..its all good….late nite there is no place like this. Enjoy it, treasure it…these types of bars are fading fast. Take a friend, DO NOT be intimidated by the exterior….I Love This Bar…UPDATE: oh lord…I no sooner finished this review, and visitng Elbow Room for diinner….when I was informed by our sweet bartender that their beer distributor has dropped Schiltz beer. Dang. They are looking for another source and I hope they are successful. This bar was built around Schlitz. All other great aspects of the Elbow Room remain.
I found this restaurant on this website and was excited for my resilience husband. Sounded like an interesting joint. The GPS on my phone led me on a merry chase. The exterior was more than questionable and was a little scary to tell the truth. The padded red leather door reassured me though. The waitress was very pleasant and gave suggestions of what to order when asked. We chose the chips and salsa and an Italian hit sub. The salsa was mediocre but the chips were warmed and rosary. The sub was FABULOUS! They make their own marinated onions that, mixed with the banana peppers, really popped the flavor out of this world. We were disappointed a bit in the decor, hoping for more star trek and instead getting more antique beer signage and kitchen. They did usage an awesome antique record player juke box. I would recommend this place for.locals looking for beer and an easygoing night. Bring friends.
