Bad food. Terrible. All of the trucks at this location are just cashing in on the craze. The food is crap. We could not swallow ours without a drink to follow. This is a great example of a rich Pensacolian hiring a bunch of people, who don’t care, to serve crap canned food. I see many reviews have mentioned that their order was forgotten. They did the same to us. Thirty minutes later, we reminded them and they seemed mad at us. It does not matter which one you go to. All four serve the same canned, no love for the food, crap.
Not the best BBQ I have ever eaten nor the worst. I thought it was good and hit the spot.
Where is the smoke???. Dry pulled pork, no real smoke flavor, taste like a hint of liquid smoke to be honest. The sauce was blah. I hate to leave negative reviews, but if you are gong to call it bbq you need to cook it the proper way.
No Shotgun Needed. Pricing aside (everyone knows downtown space is expensive) this place does a fine job of providing decent barbeque & sausage sandwiches and sides in a location that is sure to please. The menu is limited, but how much can you fit in a 16foot Airstream??? I’ll be back –
Meh Food for High Prices. I so much wanted to LOVE the food trailers at Al Fresco. Sadly, the only good thing there is the ambiance. The food (from all) is subpar and bland and ridiculously overpriced. My pulled chicken sandwich, which I only got because they ran out of pulled pork (a staple in the south), was somehow dry, despite the amount of sauce dumped on top of the sandwich. I couldn’t even eat the bread, which was a cheap hamburger bun, because it was so soggy. The whole meal, including Sandwich, coleslaw and coke, should not have exceeded $4.99, yet it cost me $9.15. The Upside of Pensacola, indeed.
Tough ribs. Dry pork. They’ve messed up my order 3 times. Maybe they just need time?
Some of tje best BBQ I have ever eaten!
