Went here for lunch because friends said that it was their favorite restaurant. Ordered pepperoni pizza for all of us. Within a minute of us getting out food the entire restaurant filled up with smoke to the point that our eyes and throats were burning and we were told that is what happened when they cook their skewer sampler. So we sat in the smoke with our eyes and throats burning eating our pizza which, in my honest opinion, tasted on par with off-brand freezer pizza. My wife and I have been really looking forward to going to Hopjacks ever since we moved back to Pensacola but were sorely disappointed by the quality of the pizza and the air quality.
I have been hearing alot about the famous duck fat fried fries. Came and enjoyed a serving of them. They weren’t the greatest but It was different and it was delicious. The wife and I created a pizza of our own. They got the size wrong. We were giving a discount so I wasn’t too mad. The service was very slow and the server wasn’t the greatest in the world. When she was taking our order she stated on the other side of the table at the other end. Had to yell at her our orders.Over all it was a decent experience. I wouldn’t mind getting some more of their fries.
Great selection of beer, pizza could definitely be better. Their duck tastes like microwaved chicken. Their fries that are fried in duck fat are probably the best thing they have going for them.
Came in this Hopjacks on a Sunday afternoon and the service and the atmosphere was dirty. Every table that was not occupied (about 7-8 of them) was filthy. We had to bus our own table. We also had to flag down our own waitress after 15 minutes of waiting. The customer service was horrible. Overall experience was terrible.
This place sucks!! A bunch of young inexperienced workers who obviously just want to get high instead of work. Will never come back to this place
Good pizza but very unfriendly servers. Go to the bartenders, they’re awesome!
Best Pizza in Pensacola!!!!! Very laid back atmosphere and friendly staff!
