One of Pensacola’s best. It’s not well known and those that do know of it many didn’t know it serves as a cafe in addition to the gourmet catering. It is the same owner as the Scenic Cafe right next door. The food is always delicious and always changing so you will be hard pressed to become bored with this place even after regular visits. The staff is always super pleasant and polite. This place holds a claim as one of my two favorite restaurants. Nancy’s and All My Favorite things just down the road hold those titles. TRY IT!
First of all the staff is awesome. I’m not a local and I don’t know any of them personally, yet the first time I walked in the door they treated me as if I was the most important thing in their day and didn’t expect me to understand just how to order at this specialty gourmet take out! Such attention was not expected from a staff I could only see on my tippy toes over the delectably filled deli case! My husband went there to pick up dinner when I was out of town and he had the same impression. The food selection is versatile, delicious and so reasonably priced. Gourmet meal and gourmet service to go! Well done
Great Gourmet Carryout!. Don’t confuse this with a sit down restaurant, it is gourmet carryout only. They make absolutely wonderful meals that you can take home and enjoy. It is a great alternative to having to cook, or going out. We have been grabbing dinner here at least once a week now for several weeks, and have not had a bad meal yet. If you are in a hurry you can just grab the blue plate special, or you can call ahead for their specials if you don’t want to wait while they prepare it. The blue plate special includes two sides with the entree for a mere $6, while the specials are $10 with two sides. This is the best carry out in the area without question.
