Food delish, atmosphere divine…service poor.. To be open only for lunch, one would think the service would be quick so that people on their lunch breaks could pop in and get a bite. Think again…we were seated for almost 20 minutes before our drink orders were taken. Luckily, we knew exactly what we wanted when she finally came back to take our orders. The food was delish, but then it took another 20-30 minutes to get our check paid. Sadly, I won’t be able to go back unless on a weekend.

Bread Pudding. Your bread pudding is just as I remember from childhood. SOOOOOO good.I especially like the whiskey sauce, which we did not have as a child. So sad I live so far away, it would be a weekly treat for sure
So sad…. I missed Norma’s so much when they all finally closed!!! Was a regular customer… Ate at one of the three at least once per week! I was happy to hear that she was opening a new restaurant …. Sadly the prices are higher and the quality is very bad. I would gladly pay a higher price to have the old quality
Native to Pensacola. I had my hopes up to try Norma’s at their new location. We waited over 30 minutes for a seat which I understand when your busy, however the staff did not manage it very well, they could of offered us a water as it was very hot outside. When we were finally seated we were immediately asked what we wanted to eat while we were given the menu, before our drink order. Server had no smile on their face and she didn’t introduce herself. When we were given the food it was way too much mayo and a small portion for the price. I miss the humble restaurant that was inside of Dillards. Sweet southern women making great food with wonderful service. Don’t let the new environment change the establishments charm.
Will not go back. Very disappointed to see the same limited menu as in the other Norma’s restaurants, just more expensive and with smaller portions. I had the chicken artichoke salad which sounded good but was so tasteless that I had to add salt and pepper which I usually never need to do. The poppyseed bread could not have been fresh that day because it was very dry. I was still hungry after the small portions so I ordered dessert. Bread pudding, still the only choice, was about a 1/4 cup portion and they must have forgotten to add the Amaretto to the sauce.The redeeming factor was the excellent service.
