My husband and I ate here a couple of weeks ago, on a Sunday. The food was really good. The fried chicken was delicious. I also had fried okra and fried green tomatoes, both were very good. The only thing I didn’t like were the mashed potatoes. They tasted like those boxed instant potatoes. The service was great as well. We will definitely be going back.
We love pofolks!! Delicious fried chicken. They were very mindful and helpful with my food allergies. Desserts are definitely worth it! Great prices! Ask for Margie. She’s super sweet and will take excellent care of you!

It’s about time. Before PoFolks closed 6 years ago, I use to eat there about twice a week. Since they closed, I’ve been having to drive all the way over to Cracker Barrel to get my country fried steak & vegetables. Thanks for coming back to pensacola. We’ve missed you.
I haven’t been to a Po Folks in years due to them all closing it seemed. So when this one opened, I jumped. It was great! My wife had the fried chicken lunch… $5.99 with 2 sides. Add a doller and get a large piece of breast meat. It was the best fried chicken I had tasted in a very long time. Crispy crust and very juicy, flavorful chicken. I had the chicken fried steak. It was also $5.99 with 2 sides. Once again, very good! Staff is friendly but new. A little bit of a wait but worth it. We will go back very soon!
