I just wanted to agree with all the folks that don’t like Red Robin. I’ve eaten there a couple times and was sorry I didn’t go elsewhere. It was average at best. How hard is it really to make a great burger?? Holy Cow.
Grilled Chicken Salad Failure…. Had an early dinner date with a gal that ordered the Red Robin Mushroom Burger and Broccoli. She did not eat the bun (Low Carb) and enjoyed her burger and veggie. I had spent 20 minutes reviewing the Nutrition Info on the website. VERY impressive interactive website and data.Unfortunately it took me all that time to try and find anything remotely healthy and containing less than 2,000mg of Sodium or fewer than 80gr of bad Carbs. Ended up with the Grilled Chicken Salad. Awful tasting would be an understatement here. If you have ever bought the bag of frozen and pre grilled chicken breast from Walmart you know how it tastes once thawed out. That’s exactly what I got. Way to much sweet relish in the 1,000 Island Dressing. The cook forgot to put basically everything on the salad but the mixed greens so I had a very helpful Manager get the Waiter to deliver my canned and cut up tomatoes in a small dish. The water tasted like it had not been filtered. Nasty. Asked for and received some lemons to help with the taste. My date and I both needed to add the lemon. The waiter shrugged it off as ‘Pensacola Water’. Really? How about changing the filters on the ice machine and supply water lines? This was my third visit to this Red Robin and I’m not going back. It just isn’t worth it for me to waste my time or money on mediocrity and amateur Culinary performance knowing I make a great Chef Salad right here at home for about $3 with fresh grilled Chicken Breast with EVO and Balsamic Vinegar vs. the sugar laden Vinaigrette they offer.Great Manager…Tina. Good Waiter, David, but needs to pay attention to mistakes the Kitchen makes. They both admitted the Cook failed to make what the menu said.No problem. Warning to ALL Consumers. Red Robin Food has extremely high levels of sodium and bad carbs if you care about what you put in your mouth. Almost all the Burgers approach 1,900mg of Sodium and 80gr of bad carbs if you eat the bun.19 Dec, 2012Great Burger Joint!!!. I have only eaten here on three occasions but I will say that IF you want to pay $10 for a Burger and Fries than a big thumbs up to a great gourmet burger. I pay the extra $1.50 for the Sweet Potato Fries and it’s worth it to me but unfortunate given they are the same price in the stores for their white potato counterparts. The Burgers are cooked perfectly to order and the atmosphere and support staff are upscale and professional. In the Cordova Mall so expect a very busy and noisy atmosphere during lunch and dinner. It is a good place for a date between those times so overall a solid A.
Gluten allergy friendly. They go out of their way for Celiac afflicted customers. Love it! Yum
Lives up to the name.. They really are Gourmet Burgers!Love the unlimited fries. There were a lot of screaming kids around, but our server was extremely sweet and courteous.
As usual, Pensacola DOESN’T know a good hamburger, Red Robin helps to keep the town in the culinary dark. The hamburger I ordered was subpar in taste and presentation. The fries were good, though. Red Robin is just a worn out chain restaurant. I DON’T recommend it.
Horrible Location. We’ve been to Red Robin restaurant before and many times at multiple locations. This particular location is the worst. unfortunately it is our only chain near us currently. We’ve had multiple incidences here. One where the waitress lied to us. Another where the mac n cheese came out uncooked and not the noodles, but like they have it premade and they reheat it. So it came out completely unheated and cold. Typically my hubby’s burger comes out under done when he asks for it to be well and he also asks for certain toppings to be removed and they are not. He’s given up on asking for things to be done a certain way and takes off his own toppings and prays his burger won’t make him sick. Another visit my salad was missing certain items. Then, this latest visit tops the cake. I ordered the Whiskey River Barbecue Chicken Salad and I received the Southwest Grilled Chicken Salad. When I tried to explain it to the waitress she tried to argue with me and say that it was the barbecue salad based on the plate color. I was like really?! it does not have the right ingredients on the plate for it to be the right salad. So, she took it back and they came out with another salad or what looked like the same salad with other ingredients thrown on the top side of it. It still had the avocado from the other salad on it which it isn’t mentioned on the menu as having and was still missing an ingredient. When we mentioned it to the manager, he then swore it was an entirely new salad that was made for me and he’d go get the missing ingredient and doesn’t know why the avocado was on it. Then he supposedly yelled at his cooks and he says they claim it is supposed to have avocado and it just isn’t mentioned on the menu. So he said he was going to complain to corporate about it. I highly doubt this as if this happened there would be lots of confusion going on and possible allergen issues if such a thing happened where the cooks believe and follow a secret menu that is different from the one patrons get. We are glad the military is moving us soon so we no longer have to put up with this location and will be leery of trying another location after this. The manager also mentioned that this location isn’t quite right. So, he agrees that this location has issues, but apparently they won’t do anything about it. Probably because as my hubby explained they’d have to fire everyone to get any improvement and in order to do it you’d have to fire them one at a time but unfortunately then the new workers would be learning from the crappy ones.
My family loved this place. It was our first time at a Red Robin. We will definitely go back. We bought a bottle of the seasoned salt too. I want one closer to home.
