Diners beware! Worst seafood place bar none. Salmon undercooked and fries soggy. Second attempt just as worse as the original. Wife’s fish sandwich dried out and soggy fries as well. The table next to us disappointed with their selections. I’ll go to Capt D’s before ever going back to this dump!
So if you’re local and don’t want to wait an hour for a 6oz piece of fish for$35, then Sams is the place for you. Very comfortable and friendly place. $22 gets you about 12oz of grilled grouper with your CHOICE of sides. Every entree is that way. Great and affordable! FRESH!!!!
Since this place has been here for so long we figured we would try it. Wish we hadnt. Expensive for the quality of food. Broiled crab claws were a little dry but ok w cocktail sauce. The broiled platter was beyond overcooked dry, and under flavored. The grits were cold. Baked potatoe and green beans were good. They have one seasoning and it’s on all the broiled seafood-and not very flavorful. Server was good and it wasn’t her fault the quality of food was what it was,but no way we will go back for one entree, one appetizer and 2 beers for $60 before tip, for that food.
Fresh Fish. Good quality fish, not covered up by a lot of sauces. Usually reasonably priced.31 Jul, 2014Bang Shrimp. Lightly fried shrimp served on top of a bed of lettuce. Seems like the number of shrimp has declined since my last visit but the service was good! Excellent homemade salad dressings!
Not very good. The wife and i and two friends went here because we were at joe pattis it was dinner time so thought we would eat at sams as none of us had ever been there we all had grouper which was medicore at best and was way to pricey for the quality and quanity of food and the service was lousy we wont go back
Absolutely the worst maybe on the planet-run don’t walk away
Anniversary. We decided to go out and celebrate our anniversary a week early so we went to Sam’s. It was very good and we really enjoyed ourselves. Plan to return in the near future.
