Why is it that every time I go to TGI Fridays I encounter a problem with either the food or the servers? But being the gullible customer I am I always seem to return.Went to TGI Fridays of Pensacola with wife tonight. Was going to use my free 150pts. Steak or Ribs coupon that I have been saving,but ended up walking out with it due to the fact my wife’s steak was overdone after waiting over 20 minutes to get our food. Then after asking for ranch for my fries and fried shrimp the waitress went across the other side of the restaurant to clean off a table first. My mouth was open in unbelief. I got the ranch 15 minutes later,so now we are at 35 minutes before I could eat my cold fried shrimp and parmesan steak fries. Well,I asked for the Manager and he said the meal was on him. I left a tip anyway despite getting the meal for free. Why I would have had a guilty conscience I don’t know.
I did the $12 endless apps and I had mixed feelings. The bacon Mac and cheese bites were heaven. The potato skins were pretty dry and needed to be drowned in ketchup to be edible. I also tried the boneless wings with Memphis BBQ and although tasty, I realized within my first bite that they tasted like they were covered in McDonalds bbq sauce so if you like that kind of thing I recommend them. Service was kind of slow at first but the staff was very polite and friendly.
YUM. Just last week me and my friend came in for drinks and dinner relatively late, we sat at a table which i dont normally like but our server kelly made it totally worth it. she was the perfect combination of letting us have our time to eat, but just enough talking to really enjoy her personality. our food was fantastic, and so were our drinks. just an over all great experience! we will be back!
Disaster. It has been a while since visiting TGIF so we decided to make a visit for dinner. The server made a good effort however he was fighting a losing battle. The restuarant was not clean. The table was dirty to include greasy salt and pepper shakers. The food was pathetic. (and that’s being kind) I was disappointed and shocked at just how bad this place is. Hopefully, tourists will avoid TGIF as this is a poor reflection on Pensacola. As for me, never again.
Wow, where do I begin… U…. Wow, where do I begin… Used to frequent this restaurant several years ago, have gone there four times in the last year and this last visit will be just that..,our last visit!!Sat at the bar, our server thought it was cool and funny that she sang along (badly) with the songs playing (loudly) and interrupt us every five seconds with mundane, useless chit-chat (no, i dont know who sings this song, leave us the hell alone), my husband and I ordered, his meal arrived, mine didn’t.,.,,after 15 minutes my salad arrived , he was almost finished. Food was average, and way over-priced. To top everything off, as the server was handing us back our receipt and credit card – she dropped our credit card in the bin (I kid you not) – we then had to wait another 15 minutes while she scrounged around in the garbage can for our credit card. It was found and the server just handed it back to us..my husband was livid and asked of she could at least wash and wipe it first!!!! Probably one of the worst dining out experiences!!!! Avoid at all costs!
Wow. $1.99 for mayo, ranch and BBQ to eat ur food with! ??? Really??? Thats just ridiculous! Will never come back!!!
