Best food I’ve ever had. I took my family here before a Wahoos game and we raved about it for a week. So good. Bacon wrapped shrimp is delicious
Very good but pricey. I still think it’s worth it. Broiled oysters are good. Fish always tastes fresh and cooked well. Nice atmosphere. One of my favorite palaces to go in Pensacola.
Sunday Brunch! Go for the bottomless mimosas, stay for the food. I only go for brunch, which is normally perfection. Most of the time the staff is wonderful and friendly. If there is a problem, management is quick to fix it. Go early, or be prepared to wait.
Meals were great, oysters were amazing. Their sushi list is limited but satisfactory. The port view in the back is amazing in the evening; however, they need fans outside to help with the heat common in Pensacola and their waiters show it. Their waiters are kind and quick to respond to their tables. Can’t wait to go again.
Had dinner here one night about 2 years ago. Husband and I thought it was awesome. Vowed to return when we were in Pensacola again. Went for dinner recently and it was not what we remembered. Food was so-so. Nothing to jump up and down about given what it cost us. Service couldn’t have been better and attentive . THREE CHEERS FOR ANDREW. He made it worth the trip. Don’t want to give up on this place. Has such great memories for us. Will try again when we are in town. And they should try washing the dirt and silt off the oysters before serving them. Nothing worse than a mouthful of mud with your oyster.
Misrepresentation. I was told, after asking specifically if they were battered, that the fried oysters were not battered. I was told that they were merely rolled in corn meal (as the menu suggests). This is false. They are battered. This is an important point for those who cannot or do not wish to eat eggs or dairy. The menu price for this dish is $21, but for some reason it showed up as $26 on my ticket (before tax). If there was an upcharge, I was not made aware of it. I was offered two sides and chose grilled veggies and fries, so I’m unsure why there’d be an upcharge of $5. Service needs to communicate better and they need to know the dishes they are serving. Also, why would a bar charge $4 for a draft of a beer that is roughly $4 for a six pack at the store? This is a ridiculous mark-up. I realize the primary goal of a restaurant is to make money, but pleasing patrons isn’t exactly a *distant* second. Nothing will change at Atlas as a result of this review, but diners should know and consider going elsewhere.
The service was great. I enjoyed the Monday special on the oysters on the half for $3. For my entree I had the bacon wrapped shrimp with fried green tomatoes and mashed potatoes. It was amazing!! The fish house punch is a delicious cocktail and you get a souvenir glass. Will definitely visit again!
