Awful. Very good waitress, very attentive. Party of 4 all ordered different entrees all negative. I we never go back, maybe the Hispanic patrons like it, I prefer Tex-mex.
Absolutely fantastic! Probably the best service Ive had at a Mexican restaurant. Our server was Margaret I believe and she was just the sweetest and made sure we never ran out of drinks or salsa!
Used to me good, now went downhill. Well, I gave this place a great review, and I loved it when it first opened. But, me and my husband went there for lunch today and it was awful food. The salsa was extremely watered down with not much flavor. It used to be way thicker and tastier. I asked of I could order a vegetable filled chimicanga and the waitress said yes, she would have the cook fill it it a nice mixture of veggies. I got it, and it was literally a onion chimi, the only thing inside was onions, no joke. My husband ordered a chicken chimi. The texture of the chicken was like canned tuna fish, and he said it tasted off, so he didn’t eat but a couple bites of it. He also scooped up some of his sour cream, and it was curdled underneith. Our rice was dried out. It was awful food all around. On a positive note, the wait staff was very friendly. But, with such a nice water view and great downtown location, this place should really step up their gave if they expect to remain open.
YUMMM!. My husband & I went here for dinner about an hour before close on a Saturday night. Had a couple modelos & some guac. We shared an order of their fajitas mexicana, it was DELISH! Epitome of what I crave. Flavourful & savoury in the best way possible. Would’ve loved to try some fried ice cream but had no room for it haha. Our waitress was extremely nice too. We will definitely be back soon & save room for dessert!
Really really great. Two visits this week. 1 for lunch, 1 with a dinner date. everything was great. guacamole special was really good…tacos and chicken quesadia was excellent. presentation of dishes and service great as well. prices very reasonable, decor very relaxing, nice views. i hope they are around for a long time because we will be back often
Great Food – Better Service!. Xiscali is motivated, responsive, and serves a great meal! We showed up with 23 people unannounced at 8:00pm. They seated us in 10min at one table, and proceeded to serve us expeditiously. The drinks and food were great! They also accommodated us with separate checks for the couples without hesitation. Initially we had planned to go to McGuire’s – that place was a zoo. We found Xiscali and they salvaged our evening in grand style. Expect greater things from them in the future. I will certainly go back.
Open after closing. After going to the Circus Friday night my grandkids wanted Mexican. We drove to your restaurant only to find you were closing. You were so nice to us and opened back up just for us.. I do not know of another restaurant in town that would have done this , especially on a Friday night. I have told everyone about this and how good your food was. Will defineatly be back..
