I really wanted to like this place because the food was good and the staff were nice. However, the service was terrible. The restaurant was mostly empty, but it took a few minutes to seat us because no one was at the front or paying attention to the door. Of the whole time we were there, we saw our waitress a handful of times. So I am unsure if the restaurant is understaffed on slow weekdays (we visited on a Wednesday) or they just don’t have enough staff in general. Hopefully they get enough staff soon or train them better because the food was good.
It’s no cactus flower but this place is just as good, if not better than most of your typical Mexican restaurants. Can’t go wrong with the Shrimp fajita quesadilla and some queso.
Honestly, I want to like this place because the staff is so nice. They really need to teach their staff how to clean or they need a night crew to clean when they are closed. It was so dirty that I ended up not even ordering a full meal. I was scared what the back was like after seeing the front. Appearance can dramatically change how people perceive a restaurant. They need new menu holders and a cleaner front house. I was disappointed.
