Positives first…I love that there is a taco truck downtown! the avocado taco is awesome! However, The salsa could be soooo much better, it’s way too sweet. And the cheesy sauce on the Z taco completely ruins it…This place would be much improved if you add more flavours to the meat and more fresh cilantro and less sweet the in salsa… please get rid of the cheesy sauce, please!
Won’t go again. Terrible! The guy that took my order obviously hated being there and would not speak up enough for me to make out the few words he said. They got my order COMPLETELY wrong. What I did get were a couple of cold, slopped together tacos drowning in sauce and wrapped up like burritos. It is also way expensive for the amount and quality of food served. I will not waste any more money there.
If you are into BLAND and OVERPRICED tacos…this is the place to eat! My friend and I had the Gringo and the Diablo tacos with Jarrito sodas which are normally 50cents in a store and my total was $20. Both tacos were built the same and tasted the same which was like a warm tortilla. THATS IT. They could have at least added more sauce/dressing to mask the fact that there was no seasoning added to the key ingredients but that still wouldn’t have made it worth the price. Even the SALSA that came with the chips was flavorless! It takes skill to mess up salsa! We ate half of our tacos and chunked them in the trash. You have been warned.
Great Outdoor Casual Dining!!. We live downtown and are always happy to support local and downtown businesses! We have been customers of Z Taco probably at least 10 times since they opened! The food is always good and the prices are great. The portion sizes are generous! My husband and I split one of the chicken burritos and the queso dip and we are full…all for less than $13!! How can you beat that?!! Staff are friendly and the open air experience is awesome!!
The food is good enough but for what you pay, I think the value is poor. You pay almost $4 for one taco and they are small. Also their guacamole is $4 and you get a small scoop. The food truck concept is suppose to be a BANG for your BuCK. This is more of a novelty idea/place
THE BEST. I love this place, everything is extremely consistent. Everything on the menu is delicious and prepared well. The only complaint I have is paying .50 a piece for extra sauce in those tiny cups and only getting it half full. The people that work at this one are extremely knowledgeable about their product and give great service. I also like the pagers and not being yelled at like Gouda Stuff.
I really like this place. Great menu items, fair price, and fresh ingredients. Everything is really delicious. Try the Gigante Burrito or the Pacos Tacos.
