Awesome!. Huey is back!!!!!!!! This was our favorite restaurant for years until Huey left and went to their South Beach location. The restaurant was just not the same. He has finally returned, and there’s such a difference in the energy of the staff, the service overall, the food, and we love it again. The food is delicious, fresh, service is excellent, and we’re so happy that Huey is back!!!! This is the best Vietnamese food you can find in Miami!!!! Go!!!!
Had to ask for a waiter to place our order. The bathrooms were dirty. The wait staff has no training in how to explain the menu, seemed impatient. While we we ordering another staff member reached into our personal space and took my wife’s menu? When we looked there were plenty of other menus at the hostess station. Food was good if you can stand the wait and bad service. The waiter never came to check on us, only the cook came and apologized for the wait. The restaurant was not full, it should not have taken that long.
Lousy service. Went to the Pinecrest location for Valentines day. Took 10 minutes for waiter to turn up and to order drinks. Another 10 minutes for drinks to arrive and order dinner. Ordered spring rolls and pho soup for appetizer; curried pork and salmon for dinner. Got spring rolls after 15 minutes. Got pho soup 10 minutes later, at same time that entrees came out. Chose not to eat pho soup but to take it home. Finished dinner and wanted dessert. Waited 20 minutes but no service. Women dropped off someone else bill on our table. Went to front desk, returned wrong bill, advised of no service and wanting dessert – no response. Got right bill and paid it. No apology or comments from front desk about lousy service, wrong bill, etc. Will never go back for dinner (except maybe takeout since food was decent).
Miss Saigon rice noodles!!!. Every time I go to Miss Saigon I have to have the Miss Saigon rice noodles with added white chicken. I was turned on to this dish by a raving fan and I continue to spread the word. There are so many flavors and textures going on here. The noodles and broth are light, lemongrass adds a bright tone, a bit of sweet/spicy sauce, crunchy veggies, soft white chicken breast slices and then the best part… crunchy and delicious egg rolls cut up and thrown in. I actually want to go there right now! We have tried several appetizers and the Vietnamese tea are all great!
Wonderful restaurant. Everything on the menu is delicious. The service is excellent and when you become a regular you get treated like one of the family.
