I heard that this place was the best Mexican food on the beach. I was spending the day with my mom and decided to stop there for lunch. Quite disappointing. The waitress was not friendly at all and didn’t even greet us properly, first thing out of her mouth was that the card machine was down and only accepting cash. No hello or anything. The food was very boring (chimichangas), having no flavor. None. I forced myself to eat it because I was hungry. It lacked much, never again. $8 for a plain, tasteless burrito! I’d have been better off at Taco Bell, that’s closer to being authentic than this place.
When my wife and I are vacationing at Madeira Beach this our place for Mexican food. The food is fresh and authentic and the guacamole is addictive, the drinks are superb. The downside that weekends can be a bit loud and the wait for a table can be long but I assure you you won’t be disappointed.
