Commenter from 4/12/14 must have been confused. This place is Great!. I think the commenter from April 2014 was confused about which restaurant she was commenting on. This restaurant is excellent, the food is beyond good. I can’t say enough good things. I’ve tried so many things from the menu and everything has been great. The chicken panini with a small side of guacamole or the steak barracuda bowl are my favorites.
Horrible. Had the turkey lunch special. It was served on very stale white bread with a chunk of tomato rather than a slice, brown lettuce, a thick slice if ild deli turkey and barely a smear of mayo. Took one bite and threw it in the trash.
I really love this place. Food is fresh and has a traditional Latin flavor that I can’t get enough of. The owners are super friendly. I always hit this spot when I go to the beach. Five stars.
The Best on the Island. Maria & Manny are the best! Everything is homemade and fresh, we have delivery from them a few times a week and there has never been a bad one. The sandwiches are enormous, the Barracuda Bowl is a must, as is the Chili. Freshly made salsa picante and guacamole, to go sizes as well. Try them soon, you’ll be glad you did.
Fresh Food with Latin American Flair. I have tried quite a few of their menu items. I have also taken lunch to one of my clients offices. Everyone was very happy. Fresh food and BIG portions. I tried the cuban, the reuben and the barracuda bowls. Everything was YUMMY! The food is made with care and owners are warm and there to please. LOVE their rice and beans.
Make your own special. In my opinion, Barracuda Deli Cafe is open to everybody to make a special tradicional lunch. I have had the oportunity to order a special plate for me after I had a hard day of work. I ‘m happy with the help of the new owners and how flexibles they are when I pick up something different .For example, a cuban sandwiches with 2 slice of bacon. Also, I had two Lue’s BBQ Sandwiches with slices of tomatoes. Thank you for your hard work. I’ll see you soon.
