I have been a loyal fan and a regular customer to Basil Leaf for many many years. The sushi was always delicious and the portions were generous. Service was super friendly from the moment we walked in. Visited yesterday and what a disappointment. Service was not the same, waited 45 minutes for the sushi and what was made was not what we ordered and definitely did not look the same as before. Bottom line they are under new owners. We left without eating after close to an hour. We are so sad as this was one of our favorite places to have dinner. Wish them the best.

Downgraded due to poor customer service. This used to be one of our regular places. Its has a nice laid back, romantic atmosphere and they do carry-out. We love their Pad Thai! You can choose from three different spicy levels (mild,medium, and hot). I think the medium is perfect, full of flavor and just the right amount of heat. On our last visit I ordered the chicken pad thai and my friend ordered the shrimp. When our meals came mine looked perfect while his had five little shrimp in the whole dish. We brought this to the female attendants attention. I was expecting them to just bring out a few more shrimp, after all we have been good customers of theirs for a while. Instead we get a lecture about eating too much protein and how we don’t need it! So, disappointed with their behavior, we haven’t been back since.
