Bounnisimo. Ok,so not the best decor in town…but the food and service were pretty good. Went to the Piano Bar side as well,fun and sweet.. Will be back
Nom nom nom nom!
They were unorganized. We made reservations for Valentines dinner a week ahead from out of state. We stood there for 30 minutes looking at empty tables before we left. Happy Valentines Day
Excellent food and service. Price seemed appropriate for the quality. The eggplant parmesan was outstanding.
Such a nice little place! Super nice owner? Lady walking around. Our waiter (bald guy:) was awesome and the food was crazy good. We did forget to ask how much the special was and ended up with a $36 meal ( way too high for us)
Great change of pace in St. Pete/TI. Had an excellent Italian meal after eating seafood all week needed to change it up a bit. Fresh made fried moz, excellent marinara. Outstanding bread and you get a whole loaf. Lamb Oso Buco was outstanding. I had clams diavlo which could have went very wrong but it was also excellent. Gnocci had a spinach shell and were an interesting and tasty spin on a classic dish that is often times not done well. Prices were reasonable. Dinner for 3 adults and one child was under $100. Finally Hamed (waiter) provided the best service I have had in a long time. He was interactive with the whole table, great with my kids, washed binkys, and even carried my son to the car in his car seat. After a hand shake and pat on the back we were off back to the hotel having had a spectacular overall experience. You don’t get that type of personal touch much these days. If you’re looking for Italian in the St Pete area, this is abolutely the place to go.
A lot to be desired. So my overall reaction to this restaurant wasn’t anything exciting. Urbansppon’s price rating for this place is way off. This need to be labeled $$$ not $$. Least expensive entre item on the menu was $16. The atmosphere was certainly dated and hasn’t been touched since the 90’s? For the price you pay, you would expect the place to be a little more upscale…..rent is probably outrageous for them, hence the price. The food was pretty good, I had the gnocchi, which seemed to be made fresh by hand. The red sauce was good, sweet, but needed a little more garlic and salt. The salad was ok, but not bad. Service was ok as well, the staff was attentive, but lacking enthusiasm. Would I go back, unfortunately no, not for that price.
