The place was a dive but loved the grilled Mahi wraps. Tasty and they funny t-shirts
Cool Dive. Went here on a drunken search for wings and clams! I had the asian thai wings and they were delightful! The others got hot and their famous chili parmesan, but they both liked mine better! My brother got the clams and he loves them! I tried them and thought they were awful, BUT I am not a HUGE clam fan myself. I would trust the brother if you are a clam person get them! Definitely a locals place and it is tucked behind, but totally check it out as the atmosphere is like your favorite hole in the wall bar!
Awesome little place. My sister andwere visiting St. Petes’s for a girls getaway and decided to give the Drunken Clam a try as we liked the name and read good reviews. We were not disappointed! Brandi was our waitress and she was so attentive and on top of getting us what we needed. The food was fabulous. I had the drunken crab cheeseburger and it was delicious and my sister had the wings which she also said were very good. When we visit St. Petersburg again we will definitely make sure to visit the Drunken Clam again!
After being disappointed by a highly recommended bar, The Undertow, my boyfriend and I came to the Drunken Clam and it did not disappoint. The bartender Brandi was so sweet and attentive it turned our grumpy mood right around. The wings are hot and crispy, the atmosphere is welcoming and the music is not annoying top 5 pop hits blaring in your ear. I give this bar high marks!!!
Terrible Food. My fiance and I decided that with all the great reviews this place had that it would be a wonderful place to stop in for a lunch. We knew ahead of time that the place was described as a dive bar, so we didn’t let the leaking roof or the shabby cobbled together table faze us. We sat down, read the menus, and then had to go up to the bar to order as there was no table service. This all was forgivable for a great meal. It’s a shame one never came. I ordered the beach burger, and my fiance got the cajun wings, and nachos to share to start things off.All the food came at once, as appetizers are a foreign concept at this place. The nachos were alright, but there was nothing to them. They were liquid nacho cheese, raw onions and tomatoes, and unseasoned beef.My burger was bland. There’s not much else to say about it. The meat was dry and flavorless, the toppings were nearly plain, and the burger all in all was one of the worst I’ve had in my life.The wings were described to me as being bland and spiceless. I don’t eat wings so I wouldn’t know much about this.The wings were ordered with celery, and blue cheese dip. The celery was crisp and fresh, the blue cheese dressing was a little mild, but good. Celery was easily my favorite part of the meal.This was the second worse dining experience of my life.
