Good Food. Excellent friendly service.. On the recommendation of a friend, we decided to stop by after a day in St Petersburg. The dining room is large, the tables spaced far enough apart so you don’t feel crowded.We were greeted by a very pleasant hostess, who also served as our waitress… and cashier. Service was good, food arrived promptly, but not too promptly. We were not rushed, or left waiting.The restaurant does not have a full-service bar, but serves beer. I’m not sure if wine is available. The iced tea tastes like it is made with our local water, and tasted of the sulfur that most of our tap water has. And that’s the last of my complaints.The food is very good. We were first served complimentary chips (freshly made) and a salsa verde that packed a bit of a kick. The Chimichangas were a special, and two in our party of six ordered them. They were good-sized, topped with sliced avocado, sour cream, and shredded cheese. I had the Chile Relleos, which were excellent. Two large poblamo peppers, lightly breaded, stuffed with queso blanco and topped with a red sauce. Encheladas can be ordered with chicken, beef, pork, or plain cheese, and your choice of salsa verde or rioja. Our party ordered them both ways. A couple thought the tortillas were soggy, but the one I tried was perfect.These people aim to please, and certainly deserve a try.
