Authentic!. Love this place! Service is always good! Authentic Japanese. I recommend the tuna tataki but I prefer it w/o the spicy sauce. Katsu and salmon teriyaki delish!Also should definitely try the green tea and ginger salad. Be warned to those who do not prefer the wasabi. Koba does use a dab of wasabi underneath the fish when making Nigiri sushi
A lovely platter of nigiri sushi, with a bowl of miso soup and a gingery salad. All lovingly prepared and served. Definitely worth the time of sushi lovers.
Awesome…. Frequent customer….The rolls are perfect.. Mexican, Tampa.. Always tastes perfectly fresh… Tempura is spicy but tolerable… Inside is intimate and to go works just fine.. Language barrier is usually a problem, but I weather the storm..
The Best Japanese restaurant in Florida. This is the most authentic and best Sushi Restaurant.. Koba is very kind and generous with his servings…He is a true Japanese Chef which is very hard to find in this area.. No gimmicks… the real deal.. We always love coming hear and bringing artists when they come from out of town to eat at his place. Koba is famous among the arts.. great atmosphere and the best sushi you can eat anywhere..
Service was excellent however the portion of fish was very small. This is why we will not go back.

Excellent Sushi. This place is very much still open. They were formerly in the Palma Ceia area and moved to Palm Harbor. Sushi is always fresh and generous. Try the Tuna Tempura Roll!
