This is my go toooo spot when I want good home cooked foods. Chicken piccata is amazing, chicken parm is good. Eveything is pretty much awesome lemon-chicken soup is also amazing. Can’t beat the prices and always is super clean inside. The lady who runs the place up front is super nice and always makes sure things are going good and I like that a lot.
Baa. My grandmother ordered the quiche of the day and I had the lamb on pita. The quiche was fluffy and delicious, but the lamb pita was so good. The lamb itself was flavorful and tender, and was sliced. Pita was moist but not soggy, and the vegetables were up to par. The tzatziki was mild and pleasant. The whole thing was just wonderful AF, but especially the lamb part. The service was also very good, and the owner was a really nice guy. I can’t wait to go back there again. Just wish they would move up here to Tarpon. Them and Gyro King..
Marathon Grille = Fresh Food. Fresh ingredients make Marathon Grille a great pick for lunch. I had the California Club Wrap. It was delicious. Other menu items are traditionally Greek influenced, and for being outside of Tarpon Springs, what I’ve tried has been exceptional. Service is fast, the owner is usually there to meet and greet, it’s a good deal for the money.
Marathon Grille Palm Harbor. Excellent food and excellent service! Authentic greek dishes, lemon soup as grandma used to make. A variation on the traditional greek beef meatballs (Keftedes) done with chicken instead…all the right spices…I would give this place 5 stars for food quality and friendliness/efficiency of staff.
No complaints. Have been here twice in the last 3 months. It was pleasant, very good service, very good food and the prices are very fair. Salmon Puttenesca was a large portion. Maybe a bit over-sauced, but very good. I think the veggies were frozen, but they were cooked nice and al dente. For 12.95..I can’t complain. Everything tasted very good. Even the rice was plump and cooked perfectly and tasty. Chicken Marsala was very good. I think the sauce was a tad thick for me but the flavor was there. Again, a nice serving. Veal Parmesan…probably not the best in town, but still quite good. I’ll go back here anytime.A couple bad reviews here made me hesitant to try this place, but I’m glad I did. Plus I like to support the NON-chain restaurants.I am very happy with my 2 experiences here.
