Every time we bring our RV to Fort de Soto we have to stop at Marco’s for take out pizza! The white pizza is perfection! The staff is friendly and always greets us with a smile!
Just average but decent pizza. First time patrons. The restaurant has a small dining room, mostly bench seating and not wheel chair accessible. Went on a Sunday night around 8pm and found all but one table taken – a good sign, we thought. Discovered that there was only one waitress though but she was prompt to take our order and bring drinks. Ordered two small salads to start and a pizza to share. Waited and waited but no salads and no waitress. After 20+ minutes, the pizza arrives. Waitress realizes the salads were missed, but we said not to bother. Brought the salads anyway, just pre-made head lettuce with the usual veggies, so no prep necessary – just missed somehow. We sent the salads back and were not charged but the lack of service was off-putting. Too many tables, too few wait staff. Pizza was decent though.

New to area and pleasantly surprised.. The first time I had pizza at Marco’s was in May of 2013. Being new to the area and having lived in NY all my life (Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island) I was familiar with the top the pizzerias in NY. Marco’s matches them all. Their pizza has a great balance of Italian tomato sauce, seasoning, cheese, and whatever other toppings you desire. For our second visit my wife and I decided to have dinner there. I had the ziti with meat sauce and my wife had the chicken Marco. Both were excellent. The food was fresh, tasty and reminded me of eating in my mom’s kitchen. Our last visit was early January of 2014 and I had visitors 12 of us in total. I phoned them ordered the pies (4) and they seated all of us together with only 30 minutes of advanced notice. What more can I say, the food is great, the staff is very accommodating and the price is right. Great place for good Italian food. Tony
