Stayed at the hotel and after reading reviews of the restaurant, I didnt have high hopes. Ordered the coffee rubbed filet. Best steak Ive ever had! Perfectly prepared. Excellent wait staff. Worth every penny.

Not many options on menu. Menu was full of good things covered in sauces made up by the chef. I guess if you are a food snob and want to impress it is OK. What ever happened to a good piece of fish or cut of meat served with fresh tasty veggies.
Very Good $$$$. I had the sea food sampler very good also had squab would have again. Sat at the small wine bar great service also the apple crum cake is amazing. Did have to pay big bucks so maybe in a year or 2 I will be able to go back again. Can’t wait
Very nice staff and management. Better the second night. Makes us want to return for a quick weekend. Loved the veggie begger purses. Thank you for the Merry Christmas.
My Fave for Seafood Fine Dining. My wife and I love this place. Our first trip was last June, and we booked the Chef’s table. This is not a folding table they set up in a hallway near the pass. This is a beautiful space, suitable for up to 6 or 7 at least (it felt very decadent and romantic having it all to ourselves). We were promised 6 or 7 courses (I can’t remember), but at least 9 or 10 showed up, and all of them were great. Some of them went way beyond great. The Chef introduced and explained each, and chatted us up quite a bit too. He (and the perfect wine-pairings) made the evening a lot of fun (the fact that we got engaged just before desert didn’t hurt). Warning: the bill for the Chef’s Table experience is not for the feint of heart! The next two times we went, we sat in the dinning room, and spent a LOT less money, but the food was just as good. Try the raw bar app, and the French onion soup to start. Or the Tasting Trio. Or the Duck Confit wontons. Its hard to go wrong, really. I love the Sous-vide snapper and the lobster faggotini for mains. The prix fixe dinners seem like a good value too, if you want desert (and a the couple of deserts Ive tried were outstanding). I ordered a Sazurac from the bar to start last time, which is a tough order for some bartenders, but it was pretty good here. Thats the only cocktail Ive tried. But there are nice choices in wines either by the glass or bottle. This isnt a cheap restaurant by any means, but Ive spent way more in Tampa and been less happy. Pick a special occasion and go for it.
