Outstanding food and service from the crusty bread to the flavor laden entrees we had. Our dessert was also light and subtle. The service was extraordinary; European high end attention. This is a truly fine dining experience. My only complaint was the pricing of the wine list; quitte high. Generally a+
The food was great and the portions although not huge were much larger than expected. I had the bone in veal seared to a perfect rare topped with a red demi glaze that was amazing. The risotto of the day with scallops and shrimp was equally delicious.
Rustic and Authentic. Chef is highly skilled and imaginative in every form of refined Italian cuisine. The finest quality ingredients paired with a talent to produce immaculately prepared dishes makes this place a memorable dining experience. Can’t miss!
Absolutely fantastic food!! Owner was very friendly!! The waiter on the other hand could have been a bit more pleasant.. Loved the food!! Will be back!!
Make Reservations Early. This restaurant is one of the truly outstanding restaurants in the whole bay area. Great food across the entire menu, great wine list, cozy style, good service. Unprepossessing hidden in a strip mall. But be sure to call for reservations a week or so in advance, it’s booked even during the week.
Fantastic Restaurant. Incredible meal and service.Great wine list, start with foie-gras and duck appetizer,my wife have veal battuta and hi have the filet. Both dish where incredible.I love this place
Terrific food – Great time. We made reservations for our 25th anniversary and were very pleased with the entire meal. The ambience and decor was nicer than I had anticipated. The restaurant was nicely decorated. Not too pretentious but still elegant in style. Frank Sinatra and others tunes from that era played softly in the background. The food was fantastic. The bruchetta was fresh and full of flavor from the herbs and olive oil. Fresh homemade bread and herb butter was a delight. I tried the Veal cognac – veal scallopini sauted with mixed wild mushrooms, shallots, cognac sauce and white truffle oil The creamy cognac sauce was not over powering and was full of rich earthy flavor. My husband tried the Battuta di Vitello which was seared veal tenderloin topped with crab and lobster meat au gratin in a red wine demi glace and Mascarpone cheese fondue topped with crab and lobster cheese topping. It tasted as incredible as it sounds. Both dished were served with Delicate steamed vegetables and a creamy mashed potato were a perfect match for both dishes. This was a true jewel to find and we will definitely be back. A very memorable meal with outstanding service. A true classic fine dining experience not to be missed.
