  I have been a frequent client of this restaurant but after this November 1, 2017 date I would not go back. They changed menu to a menu that I am not interested in and took the best items off. While I would still come for beverages after Owner Manager was so ridiculous I would never come there again. They gave me a comment card of which I rated service excellent but food items as poor. The owner Manager saw my comment card and took offense to it and got mad and took my new drink and tossed and after still charging me for it and got an attitude. Why give out comment cards if you don’t want the truth in opinion. I rated service excellent as it was I just expressed my opinion about menu as poor as it resulted in changes. He proceeded to say he is one who wrote new menu and got offended. I had not even turned in comment card he looked over bar at my comments. He doesn’t need to be in the restaurant and service industry or give out comment cards unless he only wants lies

  Poor customer service is an understatement……the owner /manager does not belong in a place that is supposed to offer customer service skills. They have none…..we were there last nite.on Black Friday in 2017 they had a special that if you bought 100.00 worth of gift cards, it would be 75 – first of all, we waited for over an hour for these gift cards because their computers were down……then the name changed…..so we drove 45 min last nite to use the gift card and were told there was nothing on it….she told me I must be confused….the owner/manager maybe should stop lying……because he or she has a whole history on the menu about the old schoolhouse, how two veterans bought it and how the veterans then accepted their offer…..and they revamped in 2018 – Das Brauhause did not even open until March of 2018 – the place looks like it is under construction as they took what was once the lovely outdoors and stuck a blue tarp over it so that it looks like it is being checked for termites……I have no objection to the food….or pricing….but the customer service stinks and you should see the nasty emails the owner sent me……well I have receipts for what I paid for the dang gift cards and in fact, I still have the advertisement with the receipt…..and at the very least, to do right by the customer, they should have offered me a 25.00 credit .no I would not have gotten the value of the 50.00 card, but at least I would not have been out 25.00 – we will never go back either….we have eaten at Cody’s several times and Selzers when they have Prime Rib specials……if they are out, the give us a comparable oz steak for the same price……THAT is customer service…..take a lesson nasty owner!

  Poor Customer Service! Owner & Manager have zero customer service skills. They did not even try to make it right. If you want to pay for overpriced food and bad attitudes, this is your place!
