Family Owned/Operated. Nice place and is a typical BBQ restaurant. One of those out of the way, hole in the wall places. Family owned and operated. The pork has a good flavor but found it to be a little on the dry side. Prices on some things were a little on the high side so you have to watch what you order.
Are you kidding me?. I got a to go bbq sandwich and it was half the size of my palm, and there was only small crumbly fries in the box. WTF? I was so pissed off.. never going to this dump again, screw you ozona pig, you’re dirty
Great BBQ! Cute area!. My two young boys, husband and I stopped in on a Saturday evening for BBQ and were extremely pleased with out experience. They were crowded, but the service was great. We sat outside on the picnic benches, which worked well for our small boys. They were able to get up and play around a little while we waited. Even though it’s summer, it was suprizingly cool (maybe because they’re close to the water). We had the pulled pork, cole slaw, baked beans and french fries. The bbq pork was awesome! They had an assortment of sauces. The cole slaw was the best I’ve had in a long time. I think it was seasoned with a little bit of pepper and celery seed. I could be wrong, but in any case, it was great. The beans were good, but the fries were awesome. It was obvious they cut the fries in the restaurant. They weren’t greasy at all and actually had tons of flavor. Our boys loved the hotdogs. Overall, I love a place that can take regular menu items and make them great. Ozona Pig definitely did that. If you have kids and it’s nice outside, I recommend the picnic tables. PS- We’ve never been to that little area of Ozona and it was adorable.
The food was dry andl tastless sevice was good so i figured it was near closing and they just rushed i can somewhat understand even though a resturant should always provide quality and consisty sorry about spelling so as we where leaving we where greeted by some dumb jerks guessing husband and wife with dog being served with even more beer like they needed it saying racist remarks like white power and giving the hitler sign now my wife and i are both white but that dont matter because of this i would never ever reccomend this place to anybody no matter of what color there skin is or there religion btw my wife is jewish and it did take everything in her from letting me rip his head off so if you enjoy a place like this that condones this but i personally will never go back also sorry it so long for the review as this happened 1 .5 months ago
