LOVE IT!!!. I have got to say, being extremely familiar with German Cuisine, you will not find a better place to eat! I came away with a very satisfied feeling. Do not forget to ask for the Underberg, you’ll feel more settled after a large meal. It is not about how quick you can eat and get out, it is about a dining experience. Ella, Thank You very much for making someone who knows what it iS to experience a proper dining atmosphere. We will return again and again! Hopefully, I will have Gerhard with me.5 Stars from me!
Great german food!. My boyfriend and I discovered this little gem of a restaurant 2 years ago while on vacation in St. Pete. The food is absolutely authentic. The waitress Ella is german as well and a sweetheart. I am originally from Germany. I could tell by the first bite that this food was prepared by a german cook. I wanted to order the Rouladen with red cabbage and spaetzle. We were back in St. Pete last October and of course went again, this time bringing a few friends. Ella even remembered us. We are visiting again this weekend and plan on going of course.
The best German food I have had in the United States without a doubt. The currywurst was excellent as well as my sauerbraten and my mom’s goulash. The most authentic German food you will get in the Western Hemisphere and I have had tried many German restaurants. Just make sure to book in advance. The owner/chef prefers to make sure your experience is as possible, therefore very few are seated at a time.
Want lovely home made food?. Just enjoyed a wonderful meal. The best sauerkraut I have ever experienced. Ella delivered excellent service. Great menu and fabulous German chocolate cake! This restaurant will be seeing more of me for sure!
What can I say. I am from Austria and a very good cook, so I am told. My daughter took me to Sandra’s German Restaurant, the first time in years I had nothing to complain*********leberknoedel suppe, wienerschnitzel and my daughters and her friends schlachtplatte and meatballs, wich I all tasted was very good **ausgezeichnet*************service was also very good. The waitress was very sweet and even gave me a hug when we left**
We were there yesterday evening and both of us enjoyed the food very much. We put this one on our keeper list.
Will never go back!. We had 7:00 reservations and didn’t get our entree until 8:45. Seriously–there are only 8 tables in the whole restaurant!!! I ordered the veal schnitzel as my main course. It was coated in Panko bread crumbs and you could hardly taste the veal. There were only 3 white wines on the menu and they were out of the one in wanted. There was only one choice of salad–a house salad with ranch or bleu cheese on an extremely little plate. Don’t waste your time or money on this place!!!
