In my view the menu was average and unimaginative (but also very long…pizza, pasta, seafood, veal, steak, everything… too much?). I found the food quality to be average and nothing to write home about but if you want a family style meal at reasonable prices, that’s the place to be.
Delightful restaurant with a very homely environment. The food was so delicious and fresh. The service was so personal and extremely friendly… can’t wait to come back here in the morning for breakfast. Very rare to see places like this which looks like it is family run and so fresh food!. We had largely Italian food and all the dishes were great. The calamari that we had as appetizer was also tasty.
If you are looking for seaside atmosphere, Skidders will disappoint. However, if you want a good meal with good service you should be satisfied. Recently ate dinner here three times over a one week period and was consistently pleased. The Greek salad is amazing, the best I have had, and the spinach pie is excellent. The broiled seafood platter is excellent, very fresh and cooked perfectly. Service was very attentive without being intrusive. I would eat here often if I lived in the area.
