Love love love this place! Our favorite is the carrot cake ice cream! Been going there for years and was often disappointed that they did not have any carrot cake ice cream. It looks like they now have it as a regular flavor. Yay!!!
Strachan’s has new owners and it certainly shows. We’ve gone there twice since and the quality of their carrot cake has dropped to the ground. No more coconut cream pie could be found either of those times as well. Once being the best to the worst. It will be missed. We won’t be going back. It’s very sad when someone spends the money on a business and then tries to make a profit by scaling back on the quality rather than doing the right thing.
I have been to numerous ice cream places across the country that are on all the lists that magazines put out and this one is the best.22 May, 2014Simply the best. Better than any other ice cream place I have been in terms of ice cream.
Awesome ice cream! They have a great selection of flavors and it’s a nice place to sit outside and enjoy the shade and cool breezes. My hubby and I love it.
How can you go wrong?. YummmmmmmAverages about $5 per adult / kid – and the kids all double dipped! Delicious Ice Cream! I advise getting your cone in a cup if want the cone – it melts fast…. coconut is delicious, my expert 11 year old says it’s the BEST Birthday Cake ice cream he’s ever had – and he’s tasted them all! Their black raspberry was delicious too.
A perfect end to any meal.. Words just cant describe the flavors here. The Almond Joy, the pistachio almond, and the Cherry/walnut/chocolate chip were excellent!!! Small shop with very few places to sit but the staff was very hospitable and polite. You can sample as much as you like and the have a secret sauce they can add as a topping that is out of this world. Highly recommended!!!
I need everyone to stop and get a frozen custard with yumm yumm sause!!!! OMG!! The best ice cream ever created!!!!
