Just went to The Wharf for dinner, first time customer. We decided to try it because they had Prime Rib on Thursday night, the prime rib was excellent, baked potato with it, done perfectly. The wait staff were very attentive and food arrived very promptly and the awful woman with the heavy accent that the previous reviewer had commented on was delightful. We chatted for a little on the way out. Will definitely return here. I am a food snob so for me to give this establishment a thumbs up is a little out of my realm. All in all this restaurant/bar where locals hang out is a definite must try.
I love going to the Wharf for lunch or dinner whenever I’m in the area. The seafood is so fresh and the staff is very friendly. It’s nice to sit outside overlooking the water. I recommend the mahi mahi or the peel and eat shrimp. I’ve been there several times and never had a bad experience. I’ve taken friends and family there and they’ve become repeat customers too!
My family and I came in on a Monday night. The food was exceptional, I had the grilled mahi-mahi. My picky 3 year old had the pasta with marinara, she devoured it. The service was fantastic, very friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be back again.
An amazing find! The shrimp & scallops are so fresh & delicious! I’ll be back again soon.
Nice location. Less than average food.. I like the location and dining outside. Service was good, however the food was not anything that I would return for. The calamari was tough and the marinara sauce tasted straight out of a can. My wife did not like her shrimp scampi at all. The oysters on my po boy were ok, but it definitely would have been improved with a better roll.
Recommended by a local on the beach…The Wharf!. Had the Lobster Roll sandwich, very tasty…lots of meat.Cole slaw was mayo based, and good.30 Peel n Eat Shrimp were a bit spicy, but still good and cooked perfectly!Cool Intracoastal view and neat historic rustic look of classic fish house.Hostess and Waitress were very nice and easy to talk to.In very nice historic neighborhood with scenic drive around the waterfront, not to be missed.
Great Food and Atmosphere – Great Service Too – Thanks Taylor!. We read about another restaurant nearby in an airline magazine. That was a disappointment, but we saw this rustic place just down the street and there were lots of people there. No wonder. The food is fantastic! We had grouper bites. It’s not on the menu, but if you ask and if they have it – delicious! Cool temperature inside and great view outside. Taylor was our server. The best! Will be there again soon.
