We were looking for a new sushi spot and found this one online. The menu comes in the form of a tablet, they have a good selection of sushi and a few other favourable options like spring rolls, seaweed salad and edamame. On the tablet, you select what you want and check out, then boom! The order goes to the kitchen. One of our favourite things is ikura nigiri, after we had placed our order we were told that they were out of salmon roe. Some communication before hand would’ve been awesome. I have to say, the sushi tasted really good but we were a little disappointed and dissatisfied with the quality. Some rolls were inconsistently made, they broke easily and the rice was thin in certain areas, because of this the pieces also looked small. The hand rolls were insanely good though! Our waitress was nice, she explained how to use the tablet and attended to us in a timely fashion.The price was about average for what you’d find in the area, but bare with me, there are better sushi spots around.
This place is very elegant and the sushi selection is impressive. I ordered the cherry blossom and sirloin roll and they were both very good. I’d recommend to anyone who wants to try some new and different type of rolls. They also have a $12 lunch special that includes 2 basic rolls and a soup or salad.
