Surprise. Went to this place the other day. Reminded me of a northeast grinder joint. Really good quality sandwich. Everything was very fresh and blended well. As good as Delco’s which is another good cheese steak spot.
Run, don’t walk and get a cheese steak!. Cheese steak, mushrooms, onions, sweet pepper and extra cheese. the cheese is cooked in, and so creamy. Very packed with meat, we have to split one. Love them! Gonna try an Italian next.
FOODFREAK. The best Philly steak ever!!! Family run which is nice. Cash only but not to fear. They have an ATM across from the counter in case you forget. Wish they were closer to Tampa. We have room for a second store over here.
Best Italian Sub Ever. I had the priviledge of eating one of the first Hoagies ever made when this place opened many years ago. The Italian Special is my particular favorite. Jo Ann (mom) made it and still does to this day. In 1976 I was in the military and was heading to the Middle East and on the way to the airport stopped by and they made me the travel special. The bun was packed separate from the meat and condiments and when I unwrapped it on the plane half way across the atlantic ocean the bun was a fresh as new and the meat and condiments as fresh as if they were just cut. I probably could have got 100 dollars for that sub considering every one else was eating airline food. I still stop at least once a week and plan on doing so for as long as I can.Oh forgot to mention the Steak Hoagie is awsome as well but anyone who has eaten one already knows that.
Bring cash. Food is awesome but they take no cards!!! who carries cash anymore lets get with the program many of my friends would like to eat there but dont carry cash.
Real Deal. I have never been to Philly but I have had cheese steaks from a lot of places and this is with out a doubt the best in Pinellas County if not all of Tampa Bay. Check em out. Good Good Good
