Great Food. My Son and went here and ordered a ton of food! You MUST try the mac and cheese. Ms. Emily makes it right there from scratch. You will never eat mac and cheese anywhere else. It is only served on Friday and Saturday. I can’t say enough good about this place. If leave here hungry it’s you own fault. Portions are huge and the price is right!
Great Food. The food here is great every time I go. Breakfast is the best around. Not sure where the previous writer saw country skillet, this restaurant doesn’t carry it. I recommend the daily specials, which are made fresh daily by Mrs. Emily and the breakfast can’t be beat. I’ll be back again and with friends. Old time dinner with good service and great old school food.
Horribly priced and horrible food. Overly priced and the food is not good! Went for breakfast and spent $22 just for two people. All I had was a ham and cheese omelet no potatoes, no toast, and a side of gravy – $12 is what I was charged. The gravy was gray, runny, and no flavor. The omelet was okay but again not much flavor. My son has the country skillet that was bacon, sausage, potatoes, eggs, and cheese. The bacon was bacon bits, the onions was not cooked, again the gravy was gray and runny, and the eggs has a layer of cheese that hard. My sons drink never got refilled so he sat with an empty glass for 30 minutes. Never will go back!
Still think tomatoes are priced high. Went Emily’s Family Restaurant III The service was first rate the food great. I only had one problem. asan american with type II diabetes i asked for sliced tomatoes instead of grits , or home fries,hash browns and was informed because if high tomato prices that would coast an added charge of $0,75 because tomato prices where to high I said go across the street for Taste Lee tomatoes $1.99 pound and they taste great . and if he bought a pound at $1.99 a pound he would be ripping us off pay $1.99 get he would be making $ 9 a pund shame on you the tomato prices are good and even better for great tasting tomatoes.
Decent place, nothing fancy. Fast service with a smile.
