OMG the best Benedict’s in pinellas park. I love Jessi’s they recently remodeled the place and it looks fabulous. The new booths and chairs gives it a nice modern feel. The owner came to the table and told us about how they’re always cleaning and sprucing the place up. I can see why this is the longest running family owned restaurant in pinellas park. Truly a staple in the community. It was nice to see they’re members of the local chamber of commerce.
Medicore. I went with my parents and my daughter for Sunday dinner. Our server who stated she’s worked there for 16 years was not friendly, provided no explanation of the specials and was very inattentive for drink refills and overall service. The place has a dusty, cluttered feel to it and no ambiance. The Albanian salad I ordered was delicious until I ate the potato salad on it. It had an old taste to it. My parents ordered pancakes and chicken marsala special which were large portions and they both enjoyed them but it wasn’t spectacular. My daughter had a breakfast item on the kids menu that she devoured after waiting 25 minutes for food. It was worth the price for all 4 of us eating a meal under $40. If you want to go to a hoarders house to eat then I highly recommend this place for that type of atmosphere. Otherwise I’m sticking with Parkside Cafe on 49th St.
Jessi’s is OUR PLACE.. We started to come here just after they opened in 1997 and we are still coming back, often more than once a week. The food is delicious, Rose and DJ are outstanding owners who will do whatever it takes to make your meal enjoyable. We have never been able to figure out how they can afford to give you so much food for the prices they are charging. They quell our hunger pains every time. Tina and Donna are exceptional and Lola is outstanding. If you come once, they treat you like family when you come back. A good indicator of a good restaurant is the returning patrons.. Take a look at the crowd having breakfast there every day. On the weekend you may have to wait for a space. Breakfast at Jessi’s is an adventure.
Not So Good Anymore. This place used to be awesome! I don’t know what happened, my Son had grilled cheese and fries. He took 3 bites of the sandwich and refused to eat more. He said it tasted weird. I had breakfast my meal was good. Service was VERY slow and the restaurant wasn’t that busy. The food took forever to come and getting drink refills was almost impossible.
Pleasantly surprised. Wanted to try someplace different yet close to home. Wife had the Albanian salad which was very good, and was a very large portion. I had the gyro with a greek side salad. Holy moly, the so-called side salad was as big as what most places would give you for a dinner salad. Everything was fresh, tasty, and priced quite reasonably. Donna, our server, was professional and pleasant. We will be back again, maybe for breakfast next time.
Go for the homemade bread!. The breakfasts here are great and usually served super fast. The staff is also very friendly and impressive with their multi-tasking. You must order the homemade toast with your meal. Not exactly low-cal or low carb, but yum! Not so great on the dinner crew, but we will continue to visit Jessi’s for breakfast. Two thumbs up!
We just got home from eating here. What we found was very fast service and great food. Prices are fantastic. We ate breakfast. We had omelettes that were less then $6 with home fries and home made toest. All dinners are around $8. T- bone steak dinner is $11.We will go back and try lunch and dinner.
