Food and Customer Service. I honestly have to say this place really disappointed my husband and I. Im Puerto Rican so I was expecting popular dishes well done in my country. To start of service sucked. Secondly, rice tasted old the acapuria didn’t have hardly any meat and it looked weird. In my country people make it into an oval size with enough beef in the center. Thirdly, the jibarito sandwich which is made with fried green plantain looked and tasted like if they had it out for long and they refried it. I know this because I know how its made. Lastly, since they didn’t have steak for the jibarito sandwich we chose chicken. What they did was they took out chicken from a drum stick with bone and my husband and I almost choked. Typically you use a chicken breast. Usually when a place is good to eat my kids will eat everything but they didn’t. It’s disgraceful to my Puerto Rican heritage.

Good Food and tasty. The ambiance is typical of a small restaurant in any out of the city area in the island of PR. My husband and I were there while traveling to Tampa area and the food was very good and tasty. The pricing is comparable to siilar restaurants. Today I ordered Jibaritos for lunch! I recommend it to anyone living or passing through the Tampa/Pinallas Park area.

The food here is really good. Best mofongo I have ever had. Very moist and super flavorful. Make sure to get it with the pork gravy! Wonderful flan and tres leches also.
