My favorite BBQ place. I’ve been to a few BBQ places and this is seriously the best around town. Their ribs are tender, fall off the bone and the seasoning on it is pretty good. Ribs, chicken and pork sandwich are all juicy and have that smokey taste. The staff is really nice and polite. They recently moved across the street (southeast corner) and the new place is so clean and spacious.
BBQ Ribs – Go for it. If you like BBQ without the sides this is a good find. We had the ribs and BBQ Pork sandwich and both were very good. Really some of the best ribs around however 1 reviewing said the beans tasted like they were out of a can because they were. They opened a can of Campbell’s Baked Beans in front of us and started heating them up. We saw the plastic container the potato salad came out of since they were dishing it up out of that. Too bad such good BBQ but crappy sides.
Had the opportunity to try their ribs yesterday and I have to say that they are AMAZING!!! The meat falls off the bone and the dry rub is heavenly! The sauce is top notch and a great accent to the rub! Have not tried their sides, but as new residents to the Pinellas area, my husband and I are hooked to this bbq joint and will be regular customers!!
Very good barbecue. Prices also good. Not a large seating area, so if you’re looking to avoid the crowd you may want to consider going at some time other than prime time dining hours.
BBQ sandwich is great. Smoked onsite in cooker by front door. BBQ beans are not good. Taste like they came out of a Campbell’s can.
Good stuff. My office is a few blocks away so this is a good lunch spot. It is really small area so get there early or you may not be able to find a place to sit/park.The chicken breast is really good and ribs are delicious. Unfortunately, Al’s finger licking good bar b que has it beat by a little margin. Don’t get me wrong, this place is definitely worth the time and money. Easily the top 4 places in the Tampa Bay area for good bar b que.
BBQ at its very BEST. Mike was closing for the day but sold us a rack anyway. We just bought a rack, no sides. Simply the best ribs I have ever eaten and, I have eaten many racks at many different rib joints in just about every state in the South. Memphis would be proud to serve these ribs.
