The people are very nice and informative. The chef is amazing as it is one thing to make it pretty, the chef makes it so delicious also. I lived in Japan for thirteen years and the sushi stands up to the best. Please never lose your sushi chef!!!!! Wonderful meals and wonderful prices.
Love the sushi!! Fresh, substantial and clean place. The decor is very nice, good ambience. Will definitely go back.
Salt on the Sushi?!!!. We have patronized this restaurant several times in the past few years. The food is better than average, but nothing exceptional. Today, my son and I went there for lunch after not having been there in about a year. As a molecular biologist, I am not adventurous when it comes to sushi. California rolls (CRs) are all I ever order anywhere. I thought it was odd that the CRs were salty despite a very brief dip in reduced sodium soy sauce. The mystery was solved as I watched the sushi chef prepare another order, and finished it off with a healthy shake from a large salt shaker!!! Yuck! If I order CR again, I guess I have to ask them to hold the salt!
This place has great fresh Sushi. I always order the Lala roll and it is delicious. They also have a great lunch special and on Mondays the sushi is off. I have been to Hooks on St Pete and this place kicks its butt!

I absolutely adore this place! The service is great, and the food is delicious! I’ve never been disappointed. They offer a chicken soup for free during lunch and its TO DIE FOR! The sushi is lovely, so many options! Its impossible to not find something you love. I always leave with a smile! Completely worth a visit, 🙂
Sushi was delicious! Fresh ingredients and a wide selection that caters to all tastes. Only downside was service. Girl who greeted us looked like she was ten and was downright rude to us. My advice, takeout
