Bland, Bland, Blandand OvercookedI love Thai food, so I had to try this restaurant that gets very good reviews. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The food was surprisingly bland, not a typical complaint in Thai restaurants. We started with a gyoza appetizer. This is really a Japanese dish, but most Asian countries have their own version. There was no punch of flavor and the wrapping was tough. We moved on to a pot of Tom Kha Gai (chicken coconut soup), something I always get at a new-to-me Thai restaurant and a good barometer of food quality. This one was thin and dull in flavor and the chicken pieces were tough. We took half of it home so we could add a few things to enliven the flavor. For an entre I got the pad Thai. Again, this is a favorite dish that I order on a first visit. All Thai restaurants should easily get it right. Once more, little flavor and very tough chicken and shrimp. We also wanted a side of vegetables but nothing like that appeared on the menu. So, we asked our server (who spoke practically no English) for a side dish of snow peas and broccoli. We struggle to make her understand that we didnt want meat or rice or sauce, just the vegetables with a little seasoning. We got the side dish, but we were charged the entre price for snow peas with meat and rice. It was too hard to argue. There are lots of good Thai restaurants around. This isnt one of them.

Fantastic sushi! I went here with my mother-in-law and wife, we only ordered sushi, so much we went in to a sushi coma. Everything on the menu looked delicious, and I’m sure if we could we would have ordered more. The rice was perfect and the size of each piece was reasonably big. I don’t remember exactly what we ordered but I do enjoying every bite. I was surprised by the presentation, the sushi came on a boat-like tray. It’s eye catching and memorable. The decor was clean and neat, and I had no issues with the service. I’m going again most definitely!
