VIETNAMESE CAFE OOH LALA. ATMOSPHEREWhen did ordering casual Vietnamese and Asian fusion food get so hip? Sharp and modern red furniture make you want to giggle over non-alcoholic drinks and lounge on the sofa while your besties snap Facebook pictures of themselvesFOODBoba drinks and banh me all the way for me and Thuys Caf does it well! Besides a huge variety, the boba drinks stay true to the natural flavors yet with a delicious, creamy, non-watered texture. The banh mis are all balanced in their ingredientsnot too much of anythingand I could taste the freshness of each ingredient perfectly.SERVICEThe counter service is always friendly and smiley. I bet the boba drinks have crack in itthats why everyone loves this place.

Best Bubble Tea Ever. Bubble tea is kind of expensive but soooo good. Approx $6 for the fresh tea with jelly but it is very good.Sandwiches were ok. Not the best I had but the bread is good though

Best Bahn Mi. Some day we are going to try something new on the menu but we love the #1 Bahn Mi sandwich so much it’s hard to get anything else. The meats and pate are just right, and the bread is absolutely to die for. If you are not a fan of really hot stuff beware of the innocent looking little slices of atomic green pepper lurking in your bun – go slow with them at first or if you are not a brave soul when it comes to hotness ask for your bahn mi without peppers. The people here are vey nice and the place is really cute. Love, love, love these wonderful sandwiches.

Fresh and Tasty Vietnamese Subs. I’m Vietnamese and I love this place! I know my banh mi’s, too! I don’t think they skimp on the meat at all. I think it’s just right. Check out the photos for yourself.I just moved to St. Petes and have been looking for a good Vietnamese sub shop. Glad this place exists and happens to be close to where i work so I come here for lunch sometimes. Heard Saigon Deli in Tampa is really good too but I haven’t had a chance to try.Sandwiches at Thuy Cafe are fresh and tasty and so are the boba tea. I get some of their other snacks from time to time and they’re always good.Nice little cafe. Looks clean and service always friendly. Great place!

What a cool little spot! I liked the grilled pork, next time I’d get extra meat though. Not a fan of boba but the iced coffee gave me the caffeine buzz i needed

Why it’s so popular?. The location is convenient for most; it’s on US 19, and it’s share the strip mall with an Asian store and a couple other restaurants. The decor is very chic. The owner seems to care about how the place looks to the customers. Even the restroom, which is not in the best state yet very nicely decorated, and kept clean. The availability of drinks, and the special dishes that they have; banh beo, curry, beef stew. I concur with the other post, they are very good. They look good, and they taste good. The sandwich only bring back the people who don’t know what a banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) supposed to taste like. Their banh mi is NOT banh mi ba le; a standard and very popular among Vietnamese. The spread/pate and the meats are not up to par with what banh mi ba le supposed to taste like, BUT they’re still good.So if you’re a banh mi connoisseur then this is NOT the place. But you’re hungry, and you just want a good sandwich and a good beverage then this is the place for you. I also agree with one other post which mention they skim on the meats.
