Fried Chicken Nirvana. My search for the best fried chicken ended years ago here. I used to work in Lakeland and always loved eating there. Living in Tampa, there are days we road trip to Plant City just for Maryland Fried Chicken. I can only vow for the beans and fries which I order ..which are ok. But you’re coming here for the chicken and it’s delicious

Good food, good family.. Publix gets credit for having good fried chicken, and I’d put Maryland up against theirs any day…it’s *that* good.Also, the family that owns/runs the place are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, and their staff is pleasant and efficient.
Best Fried Chicken ever!. They fry their chicken in peanut oil, it comes out golden brown and very hot. I ordered white meat, so I was expecting my chicken breast to be dry and tough. Not at all! The meat is SO juicy and flavorful! It makes you want to eat more. Excellent place, highly recommended! Make sure you bring some cash because they don’t accept any other kind of payment.
