Pretty good food. We went here to check out the Plant City Mexican Food Scene. Because with the exception of taqueria. the Mexican restaurants in Brandon are pretty terrible or closed down. The food was pretty good here. The service was good by a server named Lupe. The only negative was I wish they gave more rice and beans with the entree.
I am a local and eat here several times per month since it opened. The food is always good. The service was always stellar until about a year ago. Now it is hit or miss, with mostly miss. I like the Manager there, he has been there for years, but whenever he is not on the premises, the service is very poor. We really like the food so we go back and this is really the only decent Mexican place in Plant City.
The food is horrible with the exception of chips and salsa. I ordered a wet burrito and the plate was hot but the food was room temp, full of lettuce, unmelted cheese, and bland meat. The locals don’t eat there, why should you?
