Literally some of the worst service I’ve ever had. It doesn’t seem like this place cares about the quality of its staff in the slightest and the food was sub-par at best.Various workers were giving us dirty looks and the waitress seemed to be on something while she was serving us. We got there an hour before they closed, not right before. My girlfriend and I work in the service industry and have made the decision to never come back to this place.
Not as good as in years gone by. A long time native Plantation resident, I remember the CJ’s of old long before the fire that caused them to relocate to the Winn Dixie Plaza. I don’t know for certain but I believe it is no longer owned by the family that started it and is under the new ownership. The quality of their food is not quite what it used to be back in the day. Their Pizza is better than the franchises and their lunch specials reasonable and they have some tasty dinners on the menu. That said quality control has slackened lately the garlic rolls always taste stale, the lettuce wilted and the entrees lack consistency. Posted delivery hours not always honored and take out orders frequently mixed up or incorrect. The customer is never wrong attitude that served them well has long gone by the wayside. One day the food is delicious the next time the exact same entree is not at all appetizing. We have been eating there for years and we are sorry to see the slow decline of a restaurant that has been a long time Plantation favorite. We still frequent the restaurant but find the intervals between visits increasing after each disappointment. It is hard to let go of a trusted old friend but I don’t see many more visits for us in the future. It is more about the I don’t care attitude of management and staff of a Plantation fixture that has influenced our choice more than anything. When an Italian restaurant doesn’t care enough to serve fresh garlic rolls with every entree it makes you question what else is being skimped on. Good bye old friend, we will visit occasionally to see if things have improved for nostalgia sake but for now we are taking buying our Pizza at Pizza Center across the plaza. .
