Food is excellent! Service is wonderful. Only complaint is the bbq sauce they use makes the ribs, pork, chicken, etc… all taste the same. A little more variety would make this place a 5.0.
Ran $15 per person for lunch, but this is down south style BBQ, cooked on the same grill since the early 1950’s! Chicken was flavored good, moist and a nice size compared to most. Place is dated.
I’m new to this place 2 times. The price almost scared me away. I ordered a half chicken dinner to go with beans and macaroni salad as my sides. Drum roll please as I opened the bag then the container I was amazed how stuffed my meal was. It better have been for close to $13$. Wow was the chicken and fixings good. The BC sauce isn’t your typical sauce it was sweet. I only wish there was more sauce white meat tends to be dry IMO. I was stuffed. I would have rated higher but I need to see if the consistencyis the same meal after meal. The cash only thing isn’t to my liking but that’s life. I went back after that experience and will tell you all about it.
