I wanted to come here a second time before writing a review. The first time I came here, I thought it was alright. The sushi wasn’t that flavorful and there weren’t many options to choose from. I came here a second time and decided to order two sushi rolls, JB roll and shrimp tempura as an appetizer. For one, the sushi was bland, nothing too exciting. Second of all, there wasn’t too many sushi options to choose from compared to other places I’ve been. Also, the sushi rolls were on the pricier side. (I’d like to think of myself as a sushi connoisseur or snob, but I like the word connoisseur better lol). Honestly, Publix sushi tasted better. The decor inside was nice, I definitely got the authentic Japanese vibe. The service was good, it’s just the food that was OK to me. I ordered the pork ramen as my meal. It came out in a huge bowl and it was very thick, almost no broth. Now the qualm I have with this dish was, it was so thick I could not eat it with a chop stick, you definitely need a fork for this. Also, it was super hot which resulted with me burning my mouth as well as splashing all over myself since the broth was so thick I kept dropping the noodle. Finally, the ramen was so flavorless, it was like eating water. I was very disappointed with my choice; only thing that would’ve made this dish better was some hot sauce. The waitress brought out a small splash of hot sauce on a little dish; now they should’ve brought the whole bottle, that was pretty stingy. There were chunks of veggies and pork in it; it was a hearty dish but no flavor.Would I come here? It won’t me my first choice when I’m craving sushi and Japanese. I really wanted to like it but it was just bland and flavorless to me.

The waitstaff was the best part about this restaurant. My husband and I are frequent sushi eaters and love trying new places. This however, was by far THE WORST sushi place we have ever been too. Not fresh, not inventive, not in the least bit exciting. Save your money and buy a couple rolls from publix…it’ll taste much better.

Very Fresh. The food is always fresh and delicious. They have a board of changing specials (try the fish livers–they are creamy and surprisingly good) as well as a broad menu. The crispy Bok Choy is a great way to start, or as an interim between courses. It simply melts in your mouth. They are open late and the service has always remembered me. A must eat.
