Good food – Service – Not so good. All the food I have tried is pretty good. However each time I go, I find the staff to be not so friendly including the owner. No welcome mat at all. Also find the staff to be a little unprofessional with personal conversations etc. Not saying it needs to be formal but a little more professional. Don’t usually write reviews but would hate to see this place go downhill. BTW this opinion is not only mine.

Dinner. I never usually write reviews but feel the need for this. First impression on entering was very impressive until seated at a table for two so close to the tables on either side. That is the only way seating is arranged for two. Not very intimate. We arrived at 7:00 PM and we’re done ny 7:40. We did have an appetizer of Brussel Sprouts which were very good. The wine list was extremelely expensive and the variety was quite limited. It was all money. I read where the short ribs were a favorite and when I ordered them the waitress tried to talk me out of it. They were excellent. My husband ordered the duck which he said was good. We have been to many fine restaurants and when you weigh everything, I would never return to this one. Although the food was good there are a lot better restaurants with much more to offer for the price.

Very expensive. My bill for lunch was $19. I ordered a salad from the lunch menu and had tap water to drink. I ordered the Goat Cheese salad and added chicken. The salad came with spring greens, grilled asparagus, fried sweet plantains, and ball of goat cheese that was breaded and lightly fried. I added grilled chicken to get some protein. A good sized salad, but not that big either. Actually walked out a little hungry. The salad was very good. Every part of the salad was cooked nicely and tasted good. A nice change of pace with the ingredients. I just don’t feel it is worth the money they are charging. Salad $12, add chicken $3, tax $.90, $3 tip= $18.90. Seems like a trendy place which draws a pretensous crowd. Nicely decorated and very clean. Very good service. Very busy and noisy. Seems like a good place for some girlfriends to get together and eat lunch/dinner. Don’t think a husband/boyfriend would enjoy it as much. I would go back if it wasn’t for the prices.

We love lunch and dinner here so we finally tried breakfast. The food was cold. The French toast was tasty but only one piece. The bacon was ordered soft and delivered well done. My partner’s eggs and grits were cold, smothered in grits and the baguette was delivered after she finished her meal even though she asked for it early. At least the deducted 10% off of her meal. Very disappointing.08 Sep, 2013Although it is in a strip mall, it is a must go to. The ambience was lovely with dim lighting and white table cloths. Service was very good. Now for the food. The crispy duck entree was very good. The duck was moist and crispy on the outside. It came with a delicious, slightly sweet sauce that I would have liked more of. The mashed potatoes were cold and the veggies were fresh. We also had one of the evening’s dinner specials-rack of lamb. It was seasoned well and cooked to the requested temperature. Also served with mashed potatoes and veggies. The appetizer was the best part of the meal-bacon wrapped dates stuffed with sausage and goat cheese. Although the bacon was chewy, the flavors were great. They were out of their famous cupcakes on a Saturday night so we had the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream-not bad. The cake was hot and moist. I would recommend this place for dinner. (Haven’t tried their lunch yet).
